My Career In childcare began in 2001, when I become a nursery apprentice. It was my first full time job, and I looked forward to everyday. I joined Stebbing Green Day Nursery (Formerly known as Patricia Pilgrim’s) in July 2005, developing my skills and knowledge within a large, experienced team.

 

Building knowledge, skills and expertise over 22 years has taught me a great deal in an industry which I am truly passionate about. My lived experiences as a practitioner and a parent, have provided the ambition and tools which, along with the team at Stebbing Green Day Nursery is to invite your child along a rich and exciting learning journey giving them the freedom to explore and make the most of their experiences each day in a warm, nurturing environment.

We are proud of our journey and feel the positive impact we make every day. We have great connections with many extraordinary professionals across Essex and collaborate with other settings, to encourage and learning from one another, raising standards for children across Essex. We aim for a welcoming, engaging environment which encourages self-worth curiosity, individuality and creativity. 

 

We are passionate about providing opportunities for children to use their imagination and lead their own learning and discoveries. Providing lots of natural, real objects and materials and open-ended resources, our children are free to feed their imagination.
